Singer-songwriter Kellie Pickler will make her acting debut this fall on the upcoming season on 90210. Pickler will play the role of Sally, the country-singing cousin of local cowboy Austin (Justin Deeley). In addition to her acting debut, she will perform her new single “Tough,” the debut song from her forthcoming album. “Well my zip code growing up was a long way from 90210 so it will definitely be acting,” joked Pickler about the role. “I’m really excited and a little bit nervous about it but will be a fun and unique place to perform “Tough.”’ 90210 airs on The CW on Tuesdays at 8:00 pm eastern. “Tough,” written specifically for Pickler by hit songwriter Leslie Satcher, is Top 30.
